The LONN-T880 is a professional light element analysis device designed for primary needs of elemental composition analysis, alloy grade identification, ore grade testing, and hazardous element screening. This device can accurately analysis more than 40 elements ranging from sodium (Na) to uranium (U), and overcomes the key challenges of soft X-rays being easily absorbed by air, spectral interference with a low peak-to-background ratio, and low-content signals being obscured by noise.

    Working Principle

    The LONN-T880 XRF benchtop analyzer utilizes X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy to deliver precise elemental analysis. The process begins by irradiating a sample with a controlled X-ray source, stimulating the emission of characteristic fluorescence photons. These photons are captured by a high-sensitivity detector and converted into analog electrical signals, which are then amplified and digitized. A pulse processor analyzes these signals to categorize pulse counts based on elemental energy levels. Finally, integrated software employs advanced algorithms for spectral deconvolution and intensity correction to accurately calculate elemental concentrations.

It greatly reduces X-ray scattering and optical path noise, significantly improves the peak-to-background ratio and energy resolution, enhances photon detection efficiency, and captures the weak fluorescent signals of light elements more stably;

    • Mega-counts-per-second (CPS) rating improves monitoring efficiency, enhances signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and lowers detection limits. It maintains an excellent energy resolution of ≤125eV even at high count rates, preventing peak distortion and resolution degradation caused by signal pile-up;
