XRF Soil Analyzer
Working Principle
The LONN980S XRF soil heavy metal analyzer works on the X-ray Fluorescence principle for xrf soil testing. Its built-in Ag-target X-ray source emits X-rays to soil samples, exciting inner-shell electrons of heavy metal atoms (e.g., Ni, Cr, Cd, Pb) and other elements to produce element-specific characteristic X-rays, which are captured by the Peltier-cooled Si-Pin detector (with 8 program-controlled filters) and converted into electrical signals via a 4096-channel digital multi-channel pulse processor.
