Short Description:

The inline oil density meter is an instrument for measuring liquid density in real time. It’s applicable to continuous density measurement of oil media like crude oil, finished oil, edible oil, lubricating oil, aviation kerosene, etc. Its high accuracy ±0.001 g/cm³ and temperature compensation -30~120℃ determines its high performance in demanding environments of industries like petrochemical refining/blending, edible oil refining/filling, industrial equipment lubrication, and airport fueling. Standard 4-20mA outputs enable seamless integration with PLC/DCS systems for automated adjustments.

    Working Principle

    The tuning fork of the density meter for oil is excited by acoustic waves, leaving it to vibrate at its natural resonant frequency. Its vibration frequency is direct correlated with the density of liquids surrounding it. When the medium flows through the fork, the change of resonance frequency is caused by the change of medium quality.
