The in-process industrial density meter is a process control instrumentation to measure density and concentration of binary liquids in pipelines or tanks in mixing, distillation and crystallization. Full-capsuled, waterproof and explosion-proof design allows it works efficiently even in high-temperature, high-pressure, damp and dusty demanding environments. It’s excited by a piezoelectric tuning fork to vibrate at its natural frequency. When binary liquids flow through the tube, the liquid’s density changes the tube’s total mass, thereby altering its vibration frequency. The denser the liquid, the lower the frequency—and vice versa.
