    Working Principle

    The in-process tank level density meter uses a piezoelectric tuning fork as its core sensing component. This tuning fork is driven by a piezoelectric element to vibrate stably at its inherent natural frequency during operation. When the liquid in the reaction vessel or tank (such as in mixing, distillation, or crystallization processes) comes into contact with the tuning fork, the liquid’s density directly affects the total mass of the tuning fork assembly.​ This change in total mass triggers a corresponding shift in the tuning fork’s vibration frequency. The meter then converts this frequency change into a measurable signal, thereby calculating the liquid’s density and concentration accurately.
