High Pressure Temperature Viscometer

Short Description:

The in-process high pressure temperature viscometer is able to withstand high pressure 10 Mpa and temperature 400 ℃ at the same time, being suitable for applications like downhole oil extraction, high-pressure high temperature chemical reactors, and high-pressure transportation of molten metals. The high pressure viscometer is crafted with high temperature and high pressure resistant alloy and special sealing technology, maintaining an accuracy ±3% in extreme environments while eliminating offline measurement deviations caused by sudden changes in fluid properties due to temperature or pressure fluctuations.

    Working Principle

    The inline high-temperature viscometer with a vibrating rod works by measuring fluid viscosity through the damping effect of the fluid on the rod’s vibration. Higher viscosity of fluids lead to stronger damping. This energy loss is detected by the viscometer’s electronic components. The transmitter then processes this signal to output a clear, readable viscosity value, delivering direct insights into fluid conditions during production.
