The ethanol concentration meter online is a concentration measuring device installed on fermentation tanks, distillation columns, rectification units and process pipelines for integration with PLC/DCS systems and delivering real-time concentration readings.
● Real-time concentration or density measurement for direct product process control;
● Accurate and reliable 5-digit (4 decimal places) real-time readings;
● Measured physical parameters are converted to standard 4-20mA current signal;
● Offer real-time current and temperature readings;
● Enable direct parameter setting and commissioning on site by simply entering into menu;
● Feature pure water calibration, fine-tuning and temperature compensation functions;
● Selectable anti-corrosion material for wetted parts;
The ethanol sensor low concentration utilizes an acoustic signal source to excite a metal tuning fork, leaving it to vibrate at its resonant frequency. The resonant frequency correlates to the density of contacted liquids. Then liquid density could be measured through frequency analysis, and temperature compensation is applied to eliminate system temperature drift. For concentration measurement, the concentration value at 20 °C is calculated based on the relational formula between the density and concentration of the corresponding liquid.
● It delivers precise results with minimal error margins 0.3%;
● Advanced signal processing algorithms ensure real time data stability;
● It enables users to set concentration range freely within the process instrument range;
● The industrial instrument for concentration measuring responses instantly for in-time adjustment;
● It's compatible with PLC/DCS process control system via standard outputs (4-20mA);
● Robust designs in waterproof and explosion-proof ensure reliability in dusty, humid and hazardous environments;
● Intuitive interface and low maintenance requirements simplify operation and lower lifecycle costs;
● Data logging and documentation leave data tracking and audit easily;
Some alcohol beverage breweries or chemical synthesis plants could benefit from the ethanol concentration sensor:
● Alcohol beverage breweries/wineries for fermentation tank wort/wine monitoring, distillation column distillate tracking, and filling line final product testing;
● Pharmaceutical plants for hand sanitizer formulation, oral tincture production, and injectable co-solvent preparation to monitor ethanol concentration;
● Biofuel refineries for biomass fermentation broth testing, anhydrous ethanol distillation verification, and gasoline-ethanol blending to maintain ethanol purity;
● Chemical synthesis plants for ethylene/ethyl acetate production (ethanol as feedstock) and solvent recovery distillation to monitor ethanol concentration;
● Food processing facilities for natural flavor extraction (vanilla, citrus) and high-moisture food preservation (fruit preserves, sauces) to track ethanol levels;
● Industrial wastewater treatment plants for ethanol-containing effluent discharge monitoring and denitrification process carbon source dosing to control ethanol concentration;
● Cosmetic manufacturing plants for ethanol-based toner, perfume, and nail polish remover production.
